CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will have auditions, Dec. 10, for children’s roles in “To Kills a Mockingbird.”

Three area children will be cast for the roles of Scout, Jem and Dill. The roles of Jem and Dill are available for boys, 10 to 13. The role of Scout is available for girls, 10 to 15.

Children should email resumes of any experience along with a photograph (a good quality school or family photo is acceptable) to [email protected]. The deadline for consideration is Dec. 4. The resume and photo must be emailed again even if they have been sent in the past. The resume must include exact birth date and height, as well as an email address and telephone number.

At the audition, children will be asked to share a one-minute monologue, story or poem. Cold readings also will be available.

Interested children must be available for all rehearsals of this production, most of which are scheduled around school hours. Children must also be available for all performances of the show, which are scheduled Tuesdays through Sundays and include some weekday student and public matinees. “To Kill a Mockingbird” will be performed March 5 through April 3.

Those selected to audition will be contacted by telephone to schedule specific times. Audition location and other details will be provided when appointments are made.
