CASA Day on square, Monday

SIDNEY — Shelby County CASA/GAL will celebrate CASA Day, Monday, April 30, on the courtsquare in downtown Sidney.

The organization of court-appointed special advocates for children will serve free hot dogs, chips and water from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will also be a raffle of opportunities to throw pies at local leaders. Three raffle winners will each get to throw a pie in the face of Heather Fogt, CASA volunteer coordinator; Sidney Police Detective Aaron Wesbecher or Sidney Fire Lt. Jason Truesdale. Raffle tickets will cost $1 each or six for $5.

The pie-throwing will take place at 12:30 p.m.
