Houston Community Center to make improvements

HOUSTON — The trustees are looking at making some improvements to the Houston Community Center building. They are having more outside lighting installed, new windows have been ordered and they are looking at purchasing new tables and chairs in the near future.

In other news, The Houston Community Association’s Annual Turkey/Ham Dinner was held on Sunday, Nov. 8. They had a very good turn out and trustees would like to thank everyone in the community who attended.

Their website, www.houstonca.org, is up and running and continues to be updated.

The next Pizza night will be Dec. 4 starting at 4:30 p.m.

The next regular monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the special time of 7 p.m.

Anyone interested in renting the building may call Marcella Colby at 937-778-0427.

If anyone in the community would like to become a member the family membership rate is $10 and for a single person it is $5. They will have some open positions for trustees in 2016. Come to a meeting and let the current trustees know if you’d like to become one.
