Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet on Monday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.

They will review letters of interest for the open council seat and appoint the position. They will read two ordinances for the third time, an ordinance authorizing the village administrator to enter into contracts for the furnishing of fire protection to territory outside the village limits and an ordinance, amending the Village of Jackson Center Income Tax Ordinance.

They will also have discussions about a solar field and the extension of Hamer Street. A finance committee meeting will also be held at 6:30 p.m. prior to the regular meeting to go over the October financial report.

Sidney Records Commission

SIDNEY — There will be a meeting of the Sidney Records Commission on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room in City Hall, 201 W. Poplar St.

The commission is created under Ohio Revised Code Section 149.39 for the purpose of providing rules for retention and disposal of records of the municipal corporation and to review applications for one-time disposal of obsolete records and schedules of records retention and disposition submitted by municipal offices.
