An annual volleyball tradition

0

The Jackson Center Volleyball Team and a number of other local residents turned out to celebrate at the home of Jackson Center High School volleyball Coach Kim Metz Monday night. Metz has been the volleyball coach at Jackson Center Schools for 32 years and the team gathers at the coach’s home on the eve of the first game of every season for a traditional celebration. This year, team members used 352 rolls of toilet paper to “decorate” the house, trees, and shrubs along with doing chalk drawings on the sidewalk and placing manikins around the outside of the house. After the fun, the team cleaned up and left things as they had found it; another annual tradition.
