SIDNEY — The Sidney Dance Company will present “A Christmas Spectacular,” featuring dance and song, in the Cameo Theatre, 304 S. West Ave.
Regular performances are scheduled for 2 p.m., Dec. 19, and 3 p.m., Dec. 20. A dinner theater performance is planned for the evening of Dec. 19. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. The dinner will be catered by the Spot.
Tickets cost $10 for general admission, $25 for the dinner theater. They are available in advance at Sharon’s School of Dance, 104 E. Poplar St.; Alvetro Orthodontics, 1102 Fairington Drive; and Readmore’s Hallmark, 430 N. Main St., Piqua. Dinner theater tickets must be purchased in advance. General admission tickets will also be available at the door.
Pictures with Santa will be taken at 1 p.m., Dec. 19, and 2 p.m., Dec. 20. The cost is one canned-food item, which will then be donated to a local food pantry.
“A Christmas Spectacular” has been choreographed and directed by Lauren Smith, co-artistic director of the dance company. Maureen Joines is the vocal director.
The show includes holiday favorites, “We Need a Little Christmas,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Hallelujah,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Do You Hear What I Hear?”.
Appearing in “A Christmas Spectacular” will be Jennifer Ferree, Kiris Fox, Mariana Kellner, Makayla Kennedy, Savanah Koester, Hannah Miller, Autumn Neville, Madison Nuss, Aliya Sharp and Laney Shaw, all members of Sidney Dance Company I; and Anika Arcikauskas, Aubrey Baker, Tiffany Behr, Mallory Godwin, Ella Gover, Paige Mihalick, McKensie Osborne, Cadence Patterson, Reagan Paulus, Elizabeth Shaw, Logan Shaw and Zoee Steele, all members of Sidney Dance Company II.
Also appearing will be Ashriel Alvarez, Brianna Brueggert, Evan Burden, Chloe Calloway, Eliza Casto, Dublin Cooper, Miah Cotrell, MaKenzi Cox, Caitlin Fenton, Gabriel Fleming, Sabrina Hewitt, Ethan Langston, Taylor Lichty, Maliya Sims, Summer Sprowl, Nola Welker and Layla Wheeldon.
