SIDNEY — Shelby County Library has announced that its 10th annual adult winter reading program will begin Jan. 11 and will go through the end of February.

The event is for adults, 18 and older, and is at all Shelby County Library locations.

The theme is “Snow Is Falling — Books Are Calling.” For every five books, ebooks, audiobooks or magazines patrons read or listen to, they get chances at prizes! Books can be read on the Kindle or other ebook readers or downloaded from the library’s Ohio Digital Library, found on the library’s website, shelbyco.lib.oh.us. First prize is a $300 get-a-way at a state park. Other prizes include library packages containing gas cards, movie gift cards, restaurant gift packs and much more.
