Watercolor prez to lead workshop

PIQUA — The Piqua Arts Council will offer a spring watercolor workshop to be taught by American Watercolor Society President Antonio Masi, of New York, in Piqua.

Workshop sessions will run from 4 to 9 p.m., March 15-18. The fee is $350 and includes dinner each day. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at registration.

Participation will be limited to 14 artists and registrations will be accepted at www.PiquaArtsCouncil.org or 937-773-9630 on a first-come basis.

Masi is known for his paintings of the bridges of New York, which have earned him awards in competitions including the Richeson Landscape 75 competition, Illinois Watercolor Society exhibit, Allied Artist of America competition and the World Water Media competition in Thailand.
