Hardin-Houston Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will have a work session on capital improvements Monday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m., in the Media Center.

Fort Loramie Board of Education

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet in regular session, Monday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m., in the media center.

On the agenda are approval of the 2016-2017 school calendar, employment of staff, a student’s early graduation, prekindergarten preparation class and summer camps.

Traffic Safety Network of Shelby County

PIQUA — The Governor’s Community Traffic Safety Network of Shelby County will meet Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 8:30 a.m. at the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 401 W. U.S. Route 36, Piqua.

Year-end reports will be given by Shelby County traffic stats, city of Sidney traffic stats, State Patrol traffic stats and Sidney Fire Department stats. Construction project reports will be given by ODOT, Shelby County and the city of Sidney.

Sidney Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Sidney Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The commission will consider the establishment of a zoning district for the Cole annexation. This involves 25.249 acres on the north side of Fair and Schenk roads. The suggested zoning plan recommends the establishment of I-2, general industrial district, for the entire annexation area.

Tri-County Board of Recovery, Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy. During the meeting the Board plans to enter into Executive Session to discuss purchase of property.

Cynthian Township Trustees

NEWPORT — The Cynthian Township trustees will hold its annual appropriations meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at the township building, 3494 Elm St., Newport. Following the meeting, at 7:15 p.m., the Zoning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will hold its organizational meeting.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Health Department conference room, 202 W. Poplar St.

The board will consider several orders to remain vacant and a private water system variance and give third reading to a resolution concerning food safety program fees.
