SIDNEY — Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley’s Northern Counties has announced that popular vintage rock band, Phil Dirt * the Dozers, will headline its second annual fundraiser.

The event will be at the BMI Speedway and Concert Venue, 791 E. Main St., Versailles, Sept. 19.

Ticketholders for this dressy-casual event will enjoy a night of music and dancing in a unique concert venue, a light supper buffet, complimentary nonalcoholic beverages, a cash bar and the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items donated by area businesses and individuals. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and Phil Dirt & the Dozers will take the stage from 8 to 11 p.m.

Coordinated largely by volunteers who live in the agency’s northern service area, this event is a fundraiser to support services for children and families in Auglaize, Darke, Mercer, Miami and Shelby counties. Services include early childhood intervention programs in area child care centers, long-term care coordination services for seniors and mental health and pregnancy counseling.

Tickets for the Concert of Caring are $50 per person. Anyone registered by Sept. 1 is guaranteed table seating. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and sponsors will enjoy VIP, premier or reserved table seating, signage and program recognition. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased online at www.cssmv.org/events.
