Gilbert’s Party Barn employee Leah Grommon, left, of Beavercreek, carves a whole spit roasted pig as LanePark of Sidney resident Dorothy Weiskittel looks on Friday, June 26. Weiskittel said the pig “Looks good. I’m hungry, smells good too.” The pig was part of LanePark’s summer hog roast. The hog was cooked for 9 hours on a rotisserie. For final touches cherries were put in its eyes and the traditional apple was put in its mouth. Luke Gronneberg | Sidney Daily News
