SIDNEY — The Shelby County Board of Elections will hold a special meeting Thursday, Jan. 28, at 9 a.m. at the board office.

The purpose of the meeting is to meet the instruction of Secretary of State Jon Husted in regards to a directive dealing with reviewing part-petitions concerning the signer of the petition or circulator may have, contrary to state law, removed one or more signer’s name from the part-petition prior to it being filed with the election officials.
