WAPAKONETA — The Wapakoneta Theatre Guild is holding auditions for their spring production of “Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect,” on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 18 and 19, at 7 p.m.

Auditions will be held on the second floor (east side) of the Wapakoneta Chamber of Commerce building, at 30 E. Auglaize St., in downtown Wapakoneta.

Casting calls for four men and four women. The ages of actors and actresses are variable.

Production dates for the show are April 5, 6, 7, and 12, 13, 14.

The synopsis for the show is as follows:

Tom and Billy Buckle, who owe money to the mafia, try desperately to claim their undeserved inheritance from their grandfather’s estate. They even go so far as to pretend to be the favored adopted granddaughter, whom they believe to be a nun, in order to achieve their goal. Chaos ensues when Billy is forced to constantly switch from being himself to the nun.
