WAPAKONETA – The Auglaize County Crisis Center has set the 2019 Benefit Auction for 5 p.m. Thursday at the Junior Fair Building in the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.
The Auglaize County Crisis Center asks for the community’s help to ensure that adults and children whose lives have been affected by domestic violence have safe, confidential shelter, support and comprehensive educational programs.
Last year, the Crisis Center handled 2,324 crisis calls, sheltered 87 residents, adults and children, and served 391 non-residential adults and children.
As in the past the Crisis Center is asking for contributions of new merchandise, collectible items and monetary gifts to support this annual event.
Some of the highlighted items already received include a personalized tour of the Wapakoneta firehouse with firefighters, unique four course dinner for four at The Met Lima, two tickets to Celine Dion’s first United States tour in more than 10 years, hog roast for 200, Cincinnati Reds tickets, Ohio State tickets, Cleveland Indians tickets, Dayton Dragons tickets, autographed sports memorabilia, Auglaize County first responders secret recipe soup, getaway weekends, collectibles, gift certificates and more.
