FORT LORAMIE — Two pageants will be held in conjunction with the Fort Loramie Liberty Days festival.
The Miss Independence pageant will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. There are three contestants this year, and the winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Contestants for the Miss Independence pageant are:
• Alyssa Wrassman, age 17, is the daughter of Kevin and Amy Wrassman. Her sponsor is the Fort Loramie Athletic Boosters.
• Kelsi Holthaus, age 17, is the daughter of MIchael and Lori Holthaus. Her sponsor is the Fort Loramie Community Service Club.
• Hannah Siegel, age 17, is the daughter of Tony and Jill Siegel. Heere sponosor is the GYM Committee.
Saturday sees the Little Miss Independence contest at noon. The girls are judged based on stage presence and their ability to answer questions posed to them.
