SIDNEY — The Salvation Army is hosting a free 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 12. The tournament will take place at The Salvation Army located on Buckeye Avenue. The tournament is open to teams of three or four youth who enjoy basketball; and fall within the age brackets of ages 10 to 15 and 16 to 21.

Any youth who are interested in participating in the 3 on 3 tournament must pre-register by calling or texting Lt. Katie at 603-552-0641.

All tournament participants will receive free admission into Grammy Award winning artist Derek Minor’s concert at noon. This concert will also feature Grammy Award winner Thi’sl and Tony Tillman.

First and second place winners of each age bracket will receive swag bags full of goodies.

Limited tickets for Derek Minor’s concert are available for purchase at The Salvation Army. Tickets for non-tournament participants are $5 each.
