NORTH HAVEN, Conn. — Young Minds Inspired is launching a contest for students in grades 6-8 tied to the popular Netflix series, “Lost in Space.” It includes free downloadable standards-based language arts activities to inspire students to reach new heights of imagination as they explore the world of science fiction writing.

Students entering the “Lost in Space.” Science Fiction Contest can win a chance to attend the Season 2 series premiere at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington. DC. In addition, the first 50 teachers who submit contest entries will receive a Netflix $50 gift card. The contest deadline is Oct. 18, 2019.
