SIDNEY — The Senior Center of Sidney and Shelby County has announced two events, open to the public, in celebration of spring.

On March 18, the seniors will host a dance, with music by Bill Corfield, at the center, 304 S. West Ave., beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 for members, $7 for nonmembers. There will be refreshments, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

The spring card party is scheduled for April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the center. Admission is $6. Participants can play card games of their choice. Snacks will be served and there will be door prizes and a raffle.
