Ed Thomas, of Sidney. “I think of my faith and what it means to be a Christian and the freedom that comes as the gift that God has given me. Freedom also stands for liberty and being able to enjoy the sacrifices that others have provided for us.”

Craig Smith, of Sidney. “I would say freedom means to me that I can do something that I want to do within the limits that shouldn’t cause anybody harm but can’t be taken away from me.”

Alison Burt, of Jackson Center. “Our country’s independence. Being free to do stuff that others in places other than America can’t. Like you wouldn’t be swimming in a swimming pool if you were in ISIS controlled parts of Syria.”

Paige Shonk, of Anna. “I think it’s the right to believe in what you will and love what you do.”
