SIDNEY — The Easter bunny will be hiding colorful eggs all over the place during the next week as churches and civic organizations entertain children for the season.

For the third year, the Sidney Apostolic Temple will drop 15,000 plastic eggs from a helicopter; however, this year’s drop will be in a new location. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and the egg drop will be at 4 p.m. The Easter bunny will be there throughout the day; there will be inflatables to play on and face painting. Food and drink concessions will be available for purchase. The event is free; however attendance is limited to 1,500 children 12 and under and advance registration is required at www.satemple.net.

The Sidney First United Methodist Church will hide 10,000-15,000 plastic, candy-filled eggs on the lawn of Sidney High School on Easter Sunday, March 27.
