MCCARTYVILLE — Eric and Laura Niekamp, of McCartyville, announce the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth Jean Niekamp, born July 15, 2020 at 5:56 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital, in Sidney.

She weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her older brother, Matthew, 2.

Her maternal grandparents are Tom and Angie Albers, of McCartyville. Her paternal grandparents are Lou and Nita Niekamp, of McCartyville. Her great-grandparents are Armella Albers and Luella Niekamp, both of McCartyville.

Her mother is the former Laura Albers, of McCartyville.
