Protest held against child trafficking

A group of people hold a protest against child sex trafficking on the Courtsquare in downtown Sidney on Sunday, Aug. 9. The protest was organized by Amanda Dulaney, of Kettlersville, who said, “I just wanted to bring awareness locally about child sex trafficking. It’s a multibillion dollar industry.” Dulaney is planning another protest against sex trafficking at the same spot on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 5:30 p.m. Dulaney says the public is welcome to join and that they are a peaceful non-political protest. Also protesting were members of the biker group Crusaders for Children, based out of Montgomery County. Crusaders for Children helps give abused children support.
