Lip Sync Battle set for Nov 14

BOTKINS — SCARF is announcing its 5th annual Lip Sync Battle, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Palazzo in Botkins. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m. There will be a free sweet and savory snack bar, 50/50 drawing, silent auction and new this year, there will be a firearms raffle held by Mark Henman of Tactical Solutions Firearms & Accessories.

This year’s Lip Sync stars are Joel Turner, Sidney Middle School counselor; Eddie Saunders, Flex Arm/Flex CNC; Kim Metz, Jackson Center School assistant athletic director/treasurer/high school volleyball coach; Jordan Stewart, Cinemark assistant manager; Cami Frey and Gary Phipps, deputies of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office; Jessica Guillozet, Deb Graham and Tyler Davis with the Shelby County Board of DD; and Christie Combs, with the Dayton VA Medical Center, along with Lacey Gibbs of L & A Cattle Company and Terri Hull.

Tambra Brown will be the DJ for the event and hosting this year is Kevin Frazier-Jones with Gay Smith Realty and Tracy Kies, DJ for TAM FM 105.5.

Tickets are $20 each and are available for purchase from any of the stars. You can vote for your favorite star now by going to www.helpshelbycountyanimals.com. One vote equals $1 and the star that raises the most votes will win the Lip Sync Battle Belt. All monies raised will go toward supporting the animal shelter pets.
