GREENVILLE — The Darke County Parks native plant sale will be April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Nature Day at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, 5267 State Route 502, Greenville.

Pollinator plants will be available this year. Offerings include milkweeds, aster, bergamot, blazing star , and more. Milkweed provides habitat for the fragile Monarch butterfly population.

Plants are available for purchase in advance and on April 23; however, ordering in advance is the only way to guarantee getting the quantity and variety of plants desired. Order forms and payment must be received by March 31. Forms are available at the Nature Center office and online at www.darkecountyparks.org.
