WEDNESDAY

-4:44 p.m.: theft — deception. The theft of $2,011 by deception was reported in the 200 block of South Pomeroy Avenue.

3:44 p.m.: found property. A set of keys were found in the parking lot behind Peoples Federal Savings & Loan Association was was turned into the police department.

-11:13 a.m.: theft — victim is elderly person or disabled adult. The theft of a bank card and four check books were reported in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue.

TUESDAY

-9:45 a.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Tamica L. Petty, 41, of Sidney, was served a summons for failure to pay city taxes.

Crashes

Gary A. Murray, 33, of Jackson Center, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 4:46 p.m.

Murray was facing the south at the stop sign at Michigan Street when he backed up and hit the vehicle behind him that was driven by Sherri E. Boyd, 37, of Sidney.

• Jimmy Dean Pultz, 37, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 3:57 p.m.

Pultz was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 at Stolle Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a concrete median, the metal guardrail and then the metal guardrail again before coming to a stop under the South Highland Avenue overpass.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-1:58 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to a structure fire.

-12:55 to 4:09 a.m.: medical call. Medics responded to three calls.

WEDNESDAY

-2:18 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a fire alarm.

-10:48 a.m. to 11:42 p.m.: medical call. Crews responded to six calls.
