Living with Alzheimer’s Series for Caregivers offered in March

DAYTON — The Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter will present a series of educational webinars in March to help Alzheimer’s care partners improve their caregiving through the stages of the disease.

The Living with Alzheimer’s for Care Partners Series is a three-week series on Mondays in March. The sessions are free and are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. After registering, participants will receive a link to join each webinar. The dates and topics are:

• Living with Alzheimer’s for Care Partners: Early Stage will be held on Monday, March 8. In the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease, families face new questions as they adjust. Participants will get practical answers to the questions that arise in the early stage.

• Living with Alzheimer’s for Care Partners Series: Middle Stage will be held Monday, March 15. Learn helpful strategies to provide safe, effective, and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease as partners become hands-on caregivers.

• Living with Alzheimer’s for Care Partners: Late Stage will be held Monday, March 22. Caregiving involves new ways of connecting and interacting with the person in the late stage of the disease. Participants will hear about resources and how to provide a meaningful connection with the person.
