SIDNEY — Wilson Health has announced its new Emergency Medicine partnership with Fedko Emergency Physicians, who will be staffing the hospital’s Emergency Room (ER) effective March 1, 2021.

“The partnership of Wilson Health and Fedko Emergency Physicians will bring a new level of emergency medicine services to the community” said Mark Klosterman, president and CEO at Wilson Health. “Fedko’s experience and focus on quality, service, and patient satisfaction will significantly enhance and improve our current services offered in the ER.”

Fedko Emergency Physicians LLC, is a privately-owned corporation with over 35 years of industry leadership experience in providing emergency department management and staffing. Fedko’s team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians will provide all physician coverage in Wilson Health’s Emergency Department.

Dr. Martin Fedko, founder and CEO of Fedko Emergency Physicians, said, “I am very excited about partnering with Wilson Health and caring for patients in the community. We share in the hospital’s commitment to provide the highest quality care for the community. Going to the emergency room can be a daunting experience, but I want patients and their loved ones to have a comfort in being able to recognize a familiar face and knowing they are in good hands when emergencies do happen.”

The transition was partially motivated by community feedback, which suggested an opportunity to improve patient satisfaction in the Emergency Department. After a thorough vetting process, Wilson Health determined Fedko was the best fit.

The transition to Fedko Emergency Physicians for emergency room services will start March 1, 2021.
