Dance company to present ‘Shrek’

SIDNEY — The Sidney Dance Company will present “Shrek, the Musical, Jr.” in five performances at Sidney High School, 1215 Campbell Road.

Performances will be April 8 at 7 p.m., April 9 at 2 and 7 p.m. and April 10 at 3 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance cost $12 for adults, $8 for students. They are available at Sharon’s School of Dance, 104 E. Poplar St., Alvetro Orthodontics, 1102 Fairington Drive, and Readmore Hallmark, 430 N. Main St., Piqua. Tickets at the door will cost $15 for adults; $10 for students.

Following the Saturday matinee, audience members can meet the performers at the Swamp Stomp, featuring refreshments, door prizes and photos and autographs with the cast, in the Sidney High School cafeteria. Swamp Stomp tickets cost $7 and must be purchased by April 1 at Sharon’s School of Dance.
