SIDNEY — The Shelby County Board of Elections will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 15, at the board office. Items on the agenda include a business continuity plan update, an update on Help America Vote Act grant accessibility projects, 2021 pending budget issues, fire inspection follow-up, updates on directives, certification of ballots for the May election, allocation of voting equipment, early in-person voting for the May election, approval of policy and procedures for remade ballots, approval of policy and procedures for public records requests, the center polling location request and director/deputy director duty assignments.

Shelby County Boards of Developmental Disabilities

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, March 15, at 6 p.m. at Sidney High School.

H-H Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Local School district Board of Education will meet Monday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the media center at the school.

Items on the agenda include approving the monthly financial reports and expenditures and personnel items.

Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Local Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, March 15, at 7 p.m. at the school.

Items on the agenda include an executive session to consider employment of public employees and to prepare for negotiations with staff, approve pupil activity contracts, accept a resignation/retirement and to hear reports from maintenance, bus and custodial, the elementary and high school principals.

Minster Board of Education

MINSTER — Minster Local School Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15, in the elementary school large group meeting room.

Items on the agenda include reports from administrators, acceptance of donations, acceptance of 2021 tax rates and approval of the Ohio of personnel recommendations.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, March 17, at 6:45 p.m.

In keeping with orders limiting groups of people, the meeting will be held virtually, with staff physically present to manage the online meeting. No member of the public will be admitted to the board office without prior approval. Members of the public including the press who wish to watch or listen to the meeting may do so by joining the Zoom meeting. The finance committee will meet virtually beginning at 6 p.m.

Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Board of Health for Sidney-Shelby County will meet Wednesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the city of Sidney Council chambers and via video/teleconference.

In view of the orders and guidelines issued by the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC regarding the coronavirus and the prohibition on mass gatherings over 10 persons, this will be a hybrid meeting; board members will meet in person, and the public can access the meeting by telephone, tablet, laptop or personal computer.

New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, in the Diane Komminsk Center for Innovative Thinking.

Items on the agenda include reports from the principals and athletics director, adjustments to revenues and appropriations, the reactivation of the records commission, acceptance of the resignation of intervention specialist William Evans, approval of contracts for reserve baseball coaches and approval of a field trip to Disney World for the marching band and choir.

Civil Service Commission

SIDNEY — The Civil Service Commission will be meeting on Thursday, March 18, beginning at 2 p.m. All Civil Service meetings are open to the public. In view of the orders and guidelines issued by the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC regarding the coronavirus and the prohibition on mass gatherings over 10 persons this will be a hybrid meeting. Civil Service board members will meet in person. The public can access the meeting by telephone, tablet, laptop or personal computer. The meeting is to certify scores and ranking for the position of firefighter.
