ST. MARYS — The Miami and Erie Canal Corridor Association will present the program “Heritage Tourism: More Than Museums” with Mark Holbrook at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, on its Facebook page.

The program is free and open to the public, and is presented in conjunction with the county’s ongoing tourism initiative, Auglaize County: IN MOTION. The program is made possible by the Ohio Humanities Council.

The April 14 program is considered especially timely, inasmuch as the Miami and Erie Canal Corridor Association has been partnering with the Auglaize County Historical Society, Greater Grand Lakes Visitors Center, village historical societies and other local entities to promote heritage tourism to Auglaize County and the region through IN MOTION.

To access the event, simply go to the Miami and Erie Canal Corridor Association’s Facebook page before 7 p.m. on April 14. The program will appear as the most current post on the page.
