ANNA — Anna Homecoming, which will be held Sept. 24 and 25 this year, will celebrate with a “Blast from the Past” theme.

The dance will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the auxiliary gym at the high school. Students must have a pre-sale ticket to attend.

The crowning of homecoming king and queen will be held Friday, Sept. 24, at 6:45 p.m.

The candidates for queen are Hope Bixler, daughter of Andy and Kim Bixler; Kayli Brewer, daughter of Shawn and Andrea Brewer; Madison Jeffries, daughter of Randy and Amy Esser; Laney Reiss, daughter of Adam and Diane Reiss; Tanner Spangler, daughter of Bart and Lindsey Spangler; and Lauryn Wolters, daughter of Dennis and Kellee Wolters.

The candidates for king are Grant Albers, son of Ron and Chris Albers; Zach Ambos, son of Mike and Jennifer Ambos; Brandon Axe, son of Chris and Jennifer Axe; Collin Frilling, son of Brian Frilling and Erin Langenkamp; Hayden Schmidt, son of Bill Schmidt and Jennifer Pulfer; and Hunter Schmidt, son of Bill Schmidt and Jennifer Pulfer.
