Piqua Arts Council issues yearend report

PIQUA — Piqua Arts Council has experienced growth in almost every area of its organization in 2021.

With the addition of a marketing director and various new events and projects, the association has cultivated an increase in revenue, sponsorships, social media subscribers and more. And, for the first time ever, the organization completed an official annual report.

The mission of the Piqua Arts Council is to make the arts accessible to the community through presentation, support and education. This mission is made possible through the support of their members, sponsors, artists and grants. In 2021, the organization experienced a 2% increase in membership dollars and a 19% increase in sponsorship dollars. Furthermore, Piqua Arts Council’s social media appearance made a huge impact on their network, engagement and virtual influence in regards to their online audience, with social media subscribers at an increased average of 50%. Facebook subscribers increased by 36%, Instagram followers were up 51% and YouTube subscribers increased by 110%. Al data is compared to 2020.
