On Sunday afternoon, March 13, there was a Sidney connection on both sides of the Southeastern Conference men’s basketball championship game between Tennessee and Texas A&M. 1994 Sidney High alum Dr. Michael Stewart is the marching and pep band director at Tennessee. 2019 SHS graduate Andre Gordon is a member of the A&M team. Stewart and the volunteers are NCAA bound after Sunday’s win.
