ANNA — The Anna Splash Pad committee, as part of the Anna Civic Association, will host a Daddy-Daughter Dance with all proceeds going towards a Splash Pad to be constructed at the Anna Park.

The first Daddy Daughter Dance will take place on Friday, April 8, from 7-9 p.m. at the Anna Elementary, 607 N Pike St., Anna. Tickets will cost $20 for a father with one daughter and $10 per additional child. Pay at the door the day of the dance. There will be a disc jockey playing fun music, a photo booth with props and refreshments to enjoy.

On Saturday, April 9, the Afterglow Gym will host a Mommy-Son Nerf Gun event at the After Glow Centre, 9195 State Route 119, Anna. There will be different time slots per age group: 9-10 a.m. for 3 to 6 year olds, 10-11 a.m. for 7-10 year olds, 11-noon for 10-plus year olds. Cost is $15 for a mother and one son and $5 per additional child. Bring your own nerf guns and The After Glow will supply the darts and games.
