SIDNEY — After a long pause due to the ongoing pandemic, Sidney City Schools has announced the 27th annual Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony is set to take place Friday, April 22, 2022, at Sidney High School.

The Hall of Honor Committee has reconvened to set plans to honor those from 2020, including Congressman Warren Davidson (SHS 1988), retired Sidney High math teacher and boys soccer coach Eric Harlamert (SHS 1976), Emmy Award-winning executive producer Erin Johnson (SHS 2000, co-valedictorian), and the late Rob Joslin.

”It is our honor to finally be able to recognize these four outstanding people,” said Hall of Honor Chairman Rudy Keister.

The committee has also made selections for the missed 2021 year and will honor that class of distinguished honorees in October 2022. Those selections will be announced at a later date.

”We are working to make up for the two years we were unable to hold ceremonies due to the pandemic,” added Keister. “Luckily, there is no shortage of amazing candidates to choose from.”
