Armstrong Museum employee reunion set for June

WAPAKONETA — As part of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum’s 50th anniversary celebration, the organization will be hosting an employee and volunteer alumni reunion on Saturday, June 11, at 6 p.m. in the museum pavilion. The event will include catered food, games and free tours of the museum galleries.

“Our organization wouldn’t be the successful, world-renowned attraction it is today without the amazing men and women who devoted a part of their careers to bettering this site,” says Dante Centuori, the museum’s executive director. “One of our main goals for this anniversary is giving back to the people and community that made us the success we are today. We hope that many former employees and volunteers attend this reunion and share stories from their time spent here.”

Along with the reunion, the museum has created a Facebook group called “Armstrong Museum Past Employees” which allows alumni to post photos, share memories, and ask questions.

The museum is asking all attendees to RSVP for the June 11 reunion at least one week prior to the event by contacting the museum’s curator Logan Rex at [email protected]. Attendees are invited to bring one additional guest.
