A rifle salute by by the combined Color Guard Sidney Veterans Association Under the Direction of VFW Post 4239. The salute was held during a Memorial Day ceremony at Graceland Cemetery on Monday, May 30.

The memorial is in honor of those from Shelby County who served in Operation Desert Storm from August 1990 - February 1991. Jeremy is Lee’s first cousin and Rita is Lee’s aunt.
