SIDNEY — The Shelby County Historical Society will host the fifth Annual Tawawa Park Cruise-In on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Committee chairs Chris and Dianne Wooddell have been working all year long inviting car enthusiasts from all over the state of Ohio to come and enjoy the beauty of Tawawa Park. This year the gates will open at 10 a.m. and the car show will run from noon until 4 p.m. The park offers plenty of shady parking and a playground for the children. Food and cold drinks will be available throughout the event.

Every year the Shelby County Historical Society is pleased with the number of cars that attend this event. Last year cars came from as far away as Kentucky to participate. Those who have never visited Tawawa Park marvel at its beauty.

There is no entry fee. The first 100 cars to register will be presented with a dash plague and the first 150 cars to register will be given goody bags. Door prizes will be award to registered car owners during the entire event but you must be present to win.

Back by popular demand Model T rides will be offered free of charge from 1-3 p.m. If you have never studied how the Model T operates it is much different from the cars of today.

This event is free and open to the public.

Free Model-T rides will be offered again at the Tawawa Park 5th Annual Cruise-In on June 25.
