VERSAILLES — Towne & Country Players will perform “The Addams Family” at the Versailles Performing Arts Center July 13 through 16.

The musical comedy follows the beloved ghoulish Addams family as they reconcile with the impossible — the grumpy and morbid Wednesday Addams, now a college student, is in love — with an ordinary Ohio boy, no less! When Lucas Beineke and his very normal parents come to visit, will the Addams be able to keep up their ordinary-family charade? Will Uncle Fester’s summoning of the Addams’s ancestors ruin Wednesday and Lucas’ love story? Can loyal Gomez keep one tiny secret- that Wednesday is engaged to Lucas and they plan to announce their marriage at dinner- from his wife?

The show, directed by Chad Peyton and assistant director Grace Carman, will be sure to raise the dead with laughter! A story of love, tradition, and family, “The Addams Family” marks the 75th Towne & Country Players musical as well as marks the beginning of their 50th year celebration of performing arts in Versailles.

Tickets for the shows are currently available and can be purchased through the Towne & Country Players website at http://www.towneandcountryplayers.com/ and 937-417-1094. The show times are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, through Friday, July 15, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, July 16.

Towne & Country Players is a community theatre organization located in Versailles, Ohio.
