Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals

SIDNEY — The Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Monday at 4 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The board will consider a request by Timothy DeWeese for a conditional-use permit to allow more than 1,000 cumulative square feet of accessory structures at 340 Bowman Drive.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the board office.

The board will act on rental of copier equipment, permanent record storage, insurance coverage, purchase of speakers and a sound system for the football stadium, bids for bakery, dairy and food products, and school fees.

The board also will act on a purchased-service agreement to hire school security officers, accept resignations, employ certified and classified personnel, and act on supplemental contracts.

Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Board of Education will meet Monday at 7 p.m.

The board will consider adopting nutrition standards and approving engineering and construction contracts for the new prekindergarten-grade 8 school. The board also will consider the resignation of classified staff and employment of certified staff and approval of contracts for school administrators.

Jackson Township

JACKSON CENTER —The regular monthly meeting of the Jackson Township Trustees will be at 7 p.m. Monday, July 20.

Russia Board of Education

RUSSIA — Due to scheduling conflicts, the Russia Local Schools Board of Education has been moved to Sunday, July 19, at 6 p.m. in the conference room. The board had been scheduled to meet on July 15.

Hardin-Houston Board of Education

HOUSTON – The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will meet July 20 at 7 p.m. in the Media Center. They will approve monthly financial reports and expenditures for June 2015, accept donations, and discuss personnel issues.

Franklin Township Trustees

SIDNEY — The Franklin Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 11095 County Road 25A North, Sidney, on July 20, at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Traffic Safety Network

SIDNEY — The Governor’s Community Traffic Safety Network of Shelby County will meet Tuesday, July 21, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sidney Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Traffic stats for the second quarter for Shelby County, the city of Sidney and Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with fire stats from the Sidney Fire Department are on the agenda. The program will be hands-on extrication “training.”

New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Local Schools Board of Education will meet in special session, Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. to review presentations for pre-bond work by area firms, in anticipation of a bond issue in 2017.

North Central Ohio Solid Waste District

BELLEFONTAINE — The Board of Directors of the North Central Ohio Solid Waste Management District will hold its quarterly meeting on Wednesday, July 22, beginning at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at Ohio Hi Point Career Center, Room 102A, 2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine.

Shelby County Regional Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Regional Planning Commission will hold an executive meeting Wednesday, July 22, at 12:15 p.m. in the second flood meeting room at the Shelby County Annex, 129 E. Court St.

Two surveys are expected to be approved. Director Dianna Reisinger will give her director’s report, which includes CHIP-13 monies, the Formula-13 grants and Formula 14 project bids. The bids will be opened Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. for the water tower mixers at Fair Haven and Arrowhead subdivisions and a mechanically cleaned effluent screen at Fair Haven Waste Water Treatment Plant.
