Bill Deam, of Sidney, who served in the Army Air Force during WWII holds up a picture of the Shelby County Draft Board which his father, Emerson Deam, was the head of during WWII. Bill Deam was one of many WWII vets that took turns telling their WWII stories at a World War II Veterans Appreciation Dinner at the Sidney American Legion Tuesday, May 10.
