SIDNEY — Six candidates have filed petitions for the November General Election with the Shelby County Board of Elections.

Roger Schulze, 13523 Sharp Road, has filed his petition for trustee of Franklin Township. Janet Born, 939 Chestnut St., has filed her petition for Sidney City Council.

Douglas K. Stangel, 9501 Stangel Road, has filed his petition for a trustee for Washington Township. Glenda J. Stangel, 9501 Stangel Road, has filed her petition for fiscal officer of Washington Township.

Michael P. Eilerman, 8757 Russell Road, has filed a petition for trustee of Turtle Creek Township. Eric Voress, 1801 Bulle Road, has filed his petition for fiscal officer for Orange Township.

All six candidates are incumbents for the position which they have filed a petition.

Aug. 5 is the deadline for petitions of candidates in nonpartisan races to be filed with the Shelby County Road of Elections. Write in candidates must file declarations of intent by Aug 24.
