THURSDAY

-8:03 p.m.: burglary. Police are investigating a report made by Debra King, 54, 1232 Hazelnut Lane, that someone stole prescription medications and several credit cards from her residence.

-5:33 p.m.: warrant. A summons was issued for Jeremy Myers, 514 W. North St., for failure to register K9.

-4:46 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Eugene Goings, 38, was arrested at Oak Avenue and West North Street on a grand jury indictment.

TUESDAY

-2:56 p.m.: theft. Rebekah Gordon, 23, 228 Bennett St., reported her GPS, MP3 player, AM/FM adapter and charger were taken from her unlocked vehicle parked on the street. Margaret Cornett, 42, 222 E. Bennett St., also reported the theft of two back packs taken from her unlocked vehicle parked across the street from Gordon’s.

Accidents

Miranda Leach, 20, 736 Country Side St., Apt. 5, was cited with operation of vehicle at stop sign after an accident on Thursday at 10:06 p.m.

Leach was attempting to turn southbound on to Fourth Avenue from Country Side Street but hit another vehicle in the rear that was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue. Leach sustained functional damage and the other vehicle sustained functional damage.

• The driver of the other vehicle was David McBride, 75, 1336 Westwood Drive.

Charlene Kirtley, 46, 1514 Park St., was cited with starting and backing after an accident on Thursday at 9:21 p.m.

Kirtley was backing out of the driveway of her residence and hit the vehicle parked in front of 1515 Park St. Kirtley said she did not see the parked vehicle .

The owner of the other vehicle is Zackery McClain, 216 Piper St.

• Jeffrey Branscum was cited with starting and backing after an accident on Thursday at 9:15 p.m.

Branscum was stopped at a stop sign at Sixth Avenue and Russell Road. He backed up and hit the vehicle behind him that he said he did not see.

The driver of the other vehicle was Margaret Cordonnier, 71, 1622 Catalpa Place.

• Jose Melendez 56, of North Carolina, was cited with turning at intersection on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m.

Melendez was traveling northbound at Main Avenue and Poplar Street and hit another vehicle traveling westbound on Poplar Street as he attempted to turn from the wrong lane.

The driver of the other vehicle was Derek Fink, 36, Dayton.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-4:23 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 1062 S. Fourth Ave. on a false fire alarm that was due to low water pressure.

THURSDAY

-11:05 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-9:40 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to Kuther Road and state Route 47 for a vehicle fire that was out upon arrival.

-8:36 to 7:18 p.m.: medical. Medics sere dispatched on two runs.

-5:02 p.m. fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 1062 S. Fourth Ave. on a false fire alarm that was due to low water pressure.

-4:12 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.
