PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center will offer new and returning students two opportunities to pick up schedules and pay fees in preparation of the 2015-2016 school year. Class schedules will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18.
“We encourage students and their parents or guardians to add one of these days to the summer calendar,” said Matt Meyer, director of student services.
Counselors as well as the school nurse, representatives from food services, and the school cashier will be available to answer questions, provide information, and process payment of school fees.
“In addition to our student services team, representatives from Ernst Sporting Goods will be on hand with uniform samples and to deliver uniforms ordered this spring,” Meyer said.
Students of the Upper Valley Career Center are required to wear a uniform, which can vary by career and technical program. Complete details regarding uniforms, fees, and other important back-to-school information are available at the school web site at www.uppervalleycc.org, under the heading “Getting Started — 2015” and on social media #uppervalleyccgettingstarted.
