MONDAY

-3:34 p.m.: theft. Brittany LeMaster, 26, 1221 Riverbend Blvd., was arrested for theft after Dreama LeMaster, 48, 1221 Riverbend Blvd., reported the theft of a lawn mower, a hotspot devise, and a washer and dryer.

-1:50 p.m.: contempt. Jennifer Kind, 36, Michigan, was arrested for contempt. She was in the custody of adult probation.

-12:46 p.m.: lost property. Alqahtani Musfer, 21, Indiana, reported he lost his wallet containing his Ohio identification card and debit cards at Kroger on Michigan Street.

-12:39 p.m.: lost property. Noah Goodin, 19, 636 Linden Ave., reported losing his wallet containing his driver’s license and miscellaneous paperwork somewhere in Sidney.

-10:18 a.m.: theft. Chad Wilson, 41, 88 Meadowlane Drive, was arrested for theft and forgery after Shirley Weatherhead, 80, 88 Meadowlane Drive, reported he had stole money from her by writing checks to himself and forging her signature.

-8:15 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Center Seeds on Vandemark Road of the theft 23-foot silver/grey trailer taken from their lot which is valued at $5,000.

-12:48 a.m.: driving under the influence. Kelli Long, 37, 2325 Collins Ave., Apt J, was arrested for OVI and open container in motor vehicle.

SUNDAY

-6:30 p.m.: contempt. Brooke Evans, 22, Piqua, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

-4:36 p.m.: burglary. Jacob Burns, 22, 233 ½ N. West Ave., reported an attempted burglary at his residence.

-1:28 p.m.: found property. A LTE cellphone was found at South Ohio Avenue and Water Street and turned over to the Police Department for safe keeping.

-8:03 a.m.: theft. Richard Heniser, 81, 832 Spruce Ave., reported the theft of a Ruger revolver pistol from his residence between May 14 and May 21.

SATURDAY

-11:16 p.m.: aggravated robbery. Roy Elder Jr., 39, 121 W. Poplar St., Apt. 611, reported an attempted robbery at City Carry Out on North Ohio Avenue in which he obtained a severe laceration on his right arm. Police are obtaining video from City Carry Out and Rainbow Grill to continue the investigation.

-10:12 p.m.: theft. Amy Morris, 35, 903 N. Main Ave., reported the theft of her income tax check from her residence. A police investigation continues.

-9:59 p.m.: probation violation. Jeffrey Jones, 28, Troy, was arrested on an active warrant.

-7:54 p.m.: burglary. Brian Haney, 19, 226 Grove St., reported a burglary at 615 East Ave., in which baby items valued at $500 were taken.

-5:47 p.m.: found property. A Capital One credit card belonging to Aaron Williams was reported found after it was left on the counter at the Marathon Gas station on Milligan Court.

-1:13 p.m.: burglary. Darren Clark, 46, 408 W. North St., reported the theft of 75 CDs and a kid’s compound bow valued at $50 from his residence.

-12:31 p.m.: taking the identity of another. Dustin Mullen, 32, 222 New Columbia Blvd., reported identity theft.

-9:40 a.m.: found property. Mike Barhorst, 604 N. West Ave., reported finding an abandoned boy’s black Kent bike. It was placed in the Police Department garage for safe keeping.

FRIDAY

-10:07 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Walmart on Michigan Street of the theft of $194.10 in merchandise.

-4:38 p.m.: possession of drugs. Wiley Winchester, 30, at large, and Zoey Kellem, 18, at large, were arrested for the possession of drugs and criminal tools.

-3:53 p.m.: prohibited acts. Andrew Kaiser, 24, Minster, was arrested for prohibited acts.

-11:15 a.m.: found property. The resident at 107 ½ Wilkinson Ave. found three weed eaters on the property and turned them into the Police Department.

-9:17 a.m.: theft. Rocky Stone, 35, 106 S. Wilkinson Ave., was arrested after Timothy Leach, 60, 109 N. Wilkinson Ave., reported the theft of lawn equipment from his yard and cellar.

-8:04 a.m.: theft. Loren Pence, 25, 104 S. Pomeroy Ave., reported the theft of a Weedeater mower from her porch.

THURSDAY

-7:56 p.m.: theft. Drema LeMaster, 48, 1221 Riverbend Blvd., reported her purse was stolen from her home containing $300.

Accidents

Brandon Locker, 35, Minster, was cited for traffic control device after an accident on Saturday at 5:19 p.m.

Locker was facing eastbound sitting at a stop sign on Carey Street at the intersection of Highland Avenue and then pulled out in front of another vehicle that was traveling northbound on North Highland Avenue. Locker said that he did not see the other vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was John Ahrens, 60, 211 S. Wagner Ave.

• Aubrey Schulze, 17, 317 E. Robinwood St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 7 p.m.

Schulze was traveling eastbound on Russell Road when she rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped in the roadway attempting to make a left hand turn into a business drive.

The driver of the other vehicle was Brianna Funk, 20, 810 Fourth Ave.

• Lina Demarcus, 71, 840 Port Jefferson Road, was cited for operation without control after and accident on Friday at 6:48 p.m.

Demarcus was traveling northbound on Miami Avenue when she failed to control her vehicle and sideswiped two vehicles that were parked facing northbound on North Miami Avenue.

The owners of the other vehicles are Sandra and Michael Lescowitch, both of 614 N. Miami Ave.

• Brian Soukeut, 56, Tennessee, was cited for operating without reasonable control after an accident on Friday at 4:50 p.m.

Soukeut was attempting to make a left hand turn into the private drive of 2011 Michigan St. when the attached trailer hit another vehicle that was stopped in traffic at a red light.

The driver of the other vehicle was Barbara Berry, 44, Lima.

• Erin Hixon, 19, Tipp City, was cited with improper lane changes after an accident on Friday at 10:49 a.m.

Hixon was traveling northbound on South Main Street and hit another vehicle also traveling southbound on South Main Street as she attempt to change lanes.

The driver of the other vehicle was Jerry Cron, 72, Piqua.

TUESDAY

-4:24 to 11:34 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

MONDAY

-2:51 to 11 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.

-11:16 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 882 Country Side St. for an odor investigation.

-9:05 a.m. to 1:23 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

SUNDAY

-3:39 to 9:54 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.
