SIDNEY — Temperance Lodge 73 F&AM will be host Rootbeer, Blues and BBQ at the Sidney Masonic Center, 303 E. Poplar St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, May 30.

The fundraiser will support the lodge’s charity donations to organizations throughout the community.

The Acoustic Blues Band will perform. It has been featured at Brew Nation in Sidney and Z’s in Piqua.

Admission is $8 per person and includes a meal of smoked, pulled pork, side dishes and a cold drink. Meals will be available for take-out as well as dine in. In honor of Memorial Day, the county’s first responders will be given free meals.

Tours of the historic building will be on a limited basis.

The Rootbeer, Blues and BBQ event is designed to raise money and awareness for local charities in Shelby County.

Brian Huffman of Road Dogg’s Roadside BBQ in Maplewood will prepare the meals.
