SIDNEY — Steve Wagner was named Sidney’s lodge tax committee chairperson during Wednesday morning’s meeting.

The committee reviewed three requests for funding. A decision on Paint the Town and fireworks were deferred until the September meeting. There was a consensus to recommend $3,000 for the approval of the Sidney Bocce ball tournament held downtown; however, it must be operated through a non-profit organization.
