New Bremen Board of Education

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen Board of Education will meet in special session, Sunday, June 12, at noon, in the Community Room of the high school, and will convene a community meeting concerning the upcoming building levy in the same location at 1 p.m.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet on Monday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m in the Municipal Building’s Council Chambers.

There will be a introduction of the city’s Geographic Information Systems Department, and a presentation of the DP&L tree grant check.

It is expected for council to adopt two ordinances for the street lighting assessment and the Shelby County Public Transits rates. Council will introduce several ordinances, they include: an assessment for the cost of litter and junk removal, to accept codified ordinance supplement, the amendment pertaining to “parking permits”, the pay table and schedule of part-time personnel and for declaring and emergency, and for supplemental appropriations.

Council will hear two resolutions, one for the authorization of the city manager to apply and execute a City’s Development Block Grant allocation for the year 2016, and the other is for the authorization of the drawing of a warrant in payment of amounts contractually due to be paid to a vendor of the city.

There also will be a discussion of the monthly summary financial report.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. in council chambers. They will hear from Dave Dwyer from American Renewable Energy about a solar field. They will also hear reports from committees and public officials.

Fort Loramie Village Council

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will meet in regular session, Monday, June 13, at 8 p.m.

The council will consider an ordinance amending the village zoning code concerning nonconforming structures, discuss the village insurance policy and computer srvier and get updaes on the Main Street and Redskin Memorial Park projects. It will then move into executive session to discuss property purchase.

Anna Board of Education

ANNA — The Anna Local School Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. in Middle School Room 209. The board will hear a report from the treasurer about appropriations, school fees, school lunch, and OSFC changes. They will hear a report from the superintendent about board reports, open enrollment and personnel.

In new business the board will vote on the recommendations to employ Julie Metzler, and Tony Metzler as teacher, accept the resignation of Leslie Heintz, and award supplemental contracts to Greg VanGorden, for assistant varsity soccer, and Tony Metzler, seventh-grade girls basketball. They will also vote on a resolution authorizing the district to participate in the Ohio School Facilities Commission classroom facilities assistance program.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, June 15, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy. During the meeting the board plans to enter into executive session to discuss purchase of property.

Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health

SIDNEY — The Sidney-Shelby County Board of Health will meet in regular session, Wednesday, June 15, at 7 p.m., in the Health Department Conference Room, 202 W. Poplar St.

The board will consider financial reports and public health nursing reports, including one concerning bloodborne pathogens.
