Book discussion at Fort Loramie Library

FORT LORAMIE – The Friends of the Fort Loramie Library Book Club are holding a book discussion on “Abraham Lincoln: The Prairie Years and War Years” by Carl Sandburg on Aug. 10.

The discussion will be led by Ken Sowards. He is a retired history teacher from Fort Loramie Schools and a local historian. After teaching for many years Sowards has been active in several local history projects. Recently he was a part of the archaeological dig at the Fleckenstein farm and the project which recognized the Greenville Treaty Line which runs through Fort Loramie.

The discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the A.J. Wise – Fort Loramie Library located on Park Street.
