SIDNEY — Have you forgotten something?

The Sidney Daily news has hundreds of photos that were submitted between 2003 and 2012 and never picked up.

The photos will be discarded on Sept. 5.

Photos are of weddings, anniversaries, engagements, college acceptances, birthdays, scholarship winners, state fair winners, hair donors, retirees, obituaries, youth activities, awards presentations, club activities, promotions, military service, teens of the month and more.

These are not photos that were taken by Daily News photographers. They have all been submitted by area residents. Some have names on them. Many do not. Some of them are original wedding photos from more than 50 years ago.

The public is welcome to look through the box of photos and take any they like during regular office hours — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday — until Sept. 5.

In addition, there are photos that have been submitted from 2013-2015. Those will remain in the file for at least another year, but they can be retrieved at any time.
